Best Eats

When you only have 100 grams of protein to eat you have to make it look like a lot. What I do is use chicken, crab meat and fish. I eat steak but I'd rather have that in a salad because it never looks like a lot of meat.

My target time to eat is 10 am my fruit, then 1pm a huge salad and protein and then 6pm fruit salad and protein. I usually eat the am fruit slow and have hot tea and water all day long. My daily looks like this.

5:30 am walk or T-Tapp, water
10:00 am water fruit
1:00 pm water or tea, salad, protein
6:00 pm water or tea, salad, protein, 1 veggie and fruit.

Water and tea is as needed or wanted. I do 8 oz of water when I exercise and 8 oz at each meal or snack.

My other option looks like this

5:30 am walk or T-Tapp, water
10 am water fruit
1:00 pm water tea, salad, protein
4 pm fruit
6:00 pm water or tea, salad, protein and 1 veggie

That's pretty much it. Spacing it out and water keeps simple and me not hungry. You also get use to eating less vs. more and I find I am full faster.

I found your blog doing a search on HCG diet.
I am on my 15th day and have lost 12 lbs. This morning I weighted one pound more than yesterday.
I have been very careful about sticking to the diet foods. Have you experienced any weight gain while on the diet?

Through a pharmacy that my doctor called the prescription in to. I am being monitored by my doctor.
I went in to see him today and got a B12 shot. This is suppose to kick start the weight loss again.
I like your comment on peppermint. I have be struggling with cravings.

Yvonne: Weight does go up and down so don't worry about it it's natural. I also noticed when I changed what I eat like chicken to steak, steak gets me moving a bit. Are you exercising? Exercising will also retain weight because you do build muscle, even walking. Don't not exercise just be aware that it happens.

Interestingly, I started bleeding today but just for a a couple of hours. My period is not due for another week. I have lost 17 lbs and am wondering if the weight loss has changed something in my cycle.
Is it ok to continue the diet while on my period? I am
hoping it means that I will lose more after it's over.
I am losing about 1/2 lb a day. It's a little frustrating, but my doctor says that it's because of my thyroid problems.
I am using a HCG gel. I just read that you are getting the shots.

Yes my changed a little when I 1st started, it came early, no spotting for me, but everyone is different.

GEL? WOW, not gel when I started, shots then people in the groups started making an oral formula now a gel! Wow it's not been that long time!

Well I don't know about the thyroid issue because I have them and I was losing like 1-2 lbs a day my average was 1lbs a day. But it does vary by person, dosage, if your doing exercise etc.

Look at it like this, your 1/2 lb less then you were before! So don't look at how much you lost, look at how much less you are!
