1 Pound Down..Another 1 Bites The Dust
I wouldn't advocate doing the Thin So Fast plan over the hCG diet protocol because it isn't easy and yes I do miss chewing food and the 1 meal a day o, man, I live for my dinner and relish every bit.
Last night I fixed Orange Roughy fish and had a spinach salad with Bragg - Apple Cider Vinegar, gallon, 1 liquid
and made some homemade soup with miracle noodles. Just organic french onion soup and the noodles. . And it was the best meal I had all day! I felt with the lack of food the added fiber miracle noodles has would bring fullness and fiber does a body good!
Don't get me wrong It's not that bad, I do have some tasty shake recipes to make it interesting and add flavor.
It's good to have a plan B but I can't wait to get back to the hCG diet plan ASAP!

2 Pounds Down
Since I had to quickly interrupt my hCG diet protocol R2P2 thanks to my cycle, I want to thank Thin So Fast for helping me to continue to be a loser!
I did the hCG diet gorge days & started shots Christmas Eve but quickly had to stop on Sunday. So I continued with a quick weight loss plan to keep me going while this is over. Men are lucky in that regard.
I didn't want to cheat on the hCG diet on this round as I want to lose as much weight as possible during this round. BUT I do know how to recover from a cheat and cheat on the hCG diet correctly. But that's not my goal this round.
My goal this round is to do the hCG diet plan stickily and only do T-Tapp and walk. Okay that maybe blown a bit, but I'm still around 500-600 calories so we shall see.

New Year
With 2009 soon ending and 2010 coming in you need to make sure you have your hCG diet plan together. Buying hCG online, is easy or making hCG drops yourself with real hCG is affordable once you know how.

Starting . . . Kinda
Well I was supposed to start today my Round 2 of my hCG diet plan, but guess what? My cycle is here! I guess it would help if I kept up with it but I really don't. Denial
What I will do, to get a head start on my new 2010, is follow one of the quick weight loss plans on the site hCG Diet Journey until this is over and then go to the hCG diet protocol a la Dr. Simeons. I will do the Candida cleans that Kevin Trudeau recommends this round.
No I'm not a hCG Diet drop or hCG Diet Homeopathic person. Four simple reasons.
1. I have yet to find anything in herbs that mimic the hCG hormone.
2. From what I gather reading various sites and doing some research, it's not a human hormone that others are using to make the hCG but animal and frankly then it's not hCG as the "h" stands for human.
3. I'm a purest and Dr. Simeons only used shots for his hCG diet protocol and Kevin Trudeau followed suit.
4. When ephedrine went off the market (curse the FDA) many other herbal replacements came on the market and frankly, NONE matched the power and effectiveness of ephedrine.
So I am sticking with purchasing hCG online, making my own shots or making my own oral hCG diet drops, thus insuring myself of exactly what I'm getting.
I do know that you will be in dietary ketosis following the hCG diet even without the shots as it is a form of low carb diet plan (minus the apple and orange) as you will a Stillman diet plan or Thin so Fast diet plan as outlines in the quick weight loss section.
Remember the hCG hormone protects the muscles on a very low calorie diet which is a very important benefit of the hCG hormone, muscle sparing. And I cannot find proof that the homeopathic version has this benefit.
So before you get all up in arms you hCG diet drop faithfuls, in the end it's a personal choice based the answers you find and what you feel comfortable with doing. I'm not here to disparage your choice but I am giving you the rational behind mine.

hCG Diet Part Deux
Well here goes Bye Bye Bye to another useless extra pounds and inches I don't need. This Christmas Eve I'm starting and I'm going to be a loser!
Seriously listen to the words, you can apply them to fat, food addiction or any habit you want. You gotta find little things to inspire you to stick with your diet and exercise plan and finding inspiration in and old Nsync song helps stick to your hCG diet protocol, then hey go for it.
With that, this should really do it!

Afraid of the hCG diet protocol?
That maybe understandable, injecting, mixing, and frankly I don't like what I'm reading about homeopathic hCG either. I'll post my thoughts on that a little later.
You still want to lose weight but maybe the hCG diet protocol is too much for you to wrap your mind around or seems to sever.
I found the Stillman Diet on my PC so I thought you may want to have a look at that. It is a little less restrictive than the hCG diet protocol and no mixing, no shots or anything involved.
This is in on way a put down of the hCG diet protocol, just an alternative if find the hCG diet plan too restrictive, too hard or just don't want to take the hCG. This is one of two of Dr. Stillmans diet plans. I'll post the other later this week and on my other site, hCG diet protocol site

You choose from the foods selected as being high in protein low in carbohydrates and low in fats. Eat a satisfying amount without stuffing yourself. You should feel comfortably satisfied and not badly deprived or you might start feeling so sorry for yourself that you’ll eat your head off. And if you have to “cheat” on the diet, cheat on proteins.

You may use vinegar and fresh lemon or lime wedges (but no other fruits) on salads and on fresh raw or cooked vegetables if desired. Avoid salt as much as possible (salt substitute is permissible), but use as much as you desire of your favorite herbs and spices.
CHEESE
You may have up to a half cup of certain cheeses, which are relatively low in fat and high in protein:

FARMERS CHEESE
When selecting your cheese keep in mind the calorie content for a half a cup serving and aim for the one that are between 80-95 calories for a half of a cup. The exception is for Farmer’s Cheese which is a compressed bar, read the label and use your judgment again aim for a serving size that is about 80-95 calories.
NO OTHER CHEESE is permitted while the on the Protein-Plus Diet.
SKIM MILK / BUTTERMILK
You may have a 4 ounce glass of skim milk or buttermilk daily if wanted BUT NOT BOTH on the same day or you may use the skim milk in coffee or tea if you prefer.
However, you will lose weight faster if you skip the skim milk and buttermilk entirely.
YOGURT
In place of the skim milk / buttermilk you may have a half cup daily of plain skim milk yogurt if desired. You are not permitted any sweetened or flavored yogurt. You may which to improve the taste of your yogurt by adding a little no-sugar flavoring or no-sugar jelly, jam or preserves.
BREADS
You may have a slice (serving) of Protein-PLUS Bread or Bun twice a day if you wish- but no more then 2 servings a day.
The recipe is very similar to Atkins Revolution Rolls the main difference is Stillmans recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of flour and Atkins does not. In my opinion, in this case it would be best to use the Atkins recipe since it doesn’t call for flour. However, you can do a search on this site and find the original recipe for Stillmans bread/buns.
BEVERAGES
You may drink all you wish daily (with in reason) of:
COFFEE (Regular or Decaffeinated)…TEA…with a dash of skim milk if desired, and artificial sweetener if wanted but no sugar.
You may have your fill of NO-SUGAR carbonated beverages of all flavors also CLUB SODA.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
You may enjoy up to 3 cups daily of any flavor of INSTANT BOUILLON or BROTH –packet or cube type (not canned) or CONSOMMÉ but make sure to prepare it diluted to half strength (because of salt content)
VERY IMPORTANT
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DRINK AT LEAST 10 GLASSES OR CUPS DAILY OF THE PERMITTED BEVERAGES…This includes your total daily intake of all beverages combined.
10 GLASSES OR CUPS DAILY or MORE will be all the better for you speedy slimming process BUT NEVER LESS THEN 10 GLASSES OR CUPS DAILY.
MISCELLANEOUS PERMITTED FOODS
NO-SUGAR GELATIN as much as 3 servings daily ( a serving/ portion size is 4oz) for meals and snacks (but only 1 portion per meal)
FORBIDDEN FOODS Your Basic rule is this: If a food is not in the permitted listings DO NOT USE IT
Use salt sparingly if at all. This is low salt eating for quicker weight loss; you may use salt substitute, or herbs and spices.
USE NO PRODUCTS CONTAINING SUGAR…NO CANDY…NO CHEWING GUM, BUT, as an exception, you may have 1 or 2 sticks of sugarless chewing gum daily if desired; however most types of sugarless gum do contain some carbohydrate , USE NO ARTIFICIALLY SWEETENED CANDY OR COOKIES OR CAKES. They are still high in carbohydrate, and therefore undesirable on this rapid-reducing diet.
EXERCISE IS RECOMMENDED You can enjoy two 15 minute sessions daily, one in the morning and one in the evening for speedier slimming.

You should lose 10 to 25 or more pounds (depending on how heavy you are at the start)-and trim off inches off all over- by following the Protein-PLUS Diet precisely.

Though it is unusual for a High Protein diet to include vegetables there is certain restricted vegetables permitted.

Don’t use unlisted vegetables since many of them are higher in calories…such as Avocado, potatoes, corn etc..
Don’t use any rich dressings such as mayonnaise, thick salad dressings or any other high calorie dressing while on the Protein PLUS Diet. You may use low calorie dressings (under 10 calories per tablespoon) in limited quantities- no more than a tablespoonful-
You may use vinegar and fresh lemon or lime wedges (but no other fruits) on salads and on fresh raw or cooked vegetables if desired. Avoid salt as much as possible (salt substitute is permissible), but use as much as you desire of your favorite herbs and spices.
CHEESE
You may have up to a half cup of certain cheeses, which are relatively low in fat and high in protein:

FARMERS CHEESE
When selecting your cheese keep in mind the calorie content for a half a cup serving and aim for the one that are between 80-95 calories for a half of a cup. The exception is for Farmer’s Cheese which is a compressed bar, read the label and use your judgment again aim for a serving size that is about 80-95 calories.
NO OTHER CHEESE is permitted while the on the Protein-Plus Diet.
SKIM MILK / BUTTERMILK
You may have a 4 ounce glass of skim milk or buttermilk daily if wanted BUT NOT BOTH on the same day or you may use the skim milk in coffee or tea if you prefer.
However, you will lose weight faster if you skip the skim milk and buttermilk entirely.
YOGURT
In place of the skim milk / buttermilk you may have a half cup daily of plain skim milk yogurt if desired. You are not permitted any sweetened or flavored yogurt. You may which to improve the taste of your yogurt by adding a little no-sugar flavoring or no-sugar jelly, jam or preserves.
BREADS
You may have a slice (serving) of Protein-PLUS Bread or Bun twice a day if you wish- but no more then 2 servings a day.
The recipe is very similar to Atkins Revolution Rolls the main difference is Stillmans recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of flour and Atkins does not. In my opinion, in this case it would be best to use the Atkins recipe since it doesn’t call for flour. However, you can do a search on this site and find the original recipe for Stillmans bread/buns.
BEVERAGES
You may drink all you wish daily (with in reason) of:
COFFEE (Regular or Decaffeinated)…TEA…with a dash of skim milk if desired, and artificial sweetener if wanted but no sugar.
You may have your fill of NO-SUGAR carbonated beverages of all flavors also CLUB SODA.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
You may enjoy up to 3 cups daily of any flavor of INSTANT BOUILLON or BROTH –packet or cube type (not canned) or CONSOMMÉ but make sure to prepare it diluted to half strength (because of salt content)
VERY IMPORTANT
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DRINK AT LEAST 10 GLASSES OR CUPS DAILY OF THE PERMITTED BEVERAGES…This includes your total daily intake of all beverages combined.
10 GLASSES OR CUPS DAILY or MORE will be all the better for you speedy slimming process BUT NEVER LESS THEN 10 GLASSES OR CUPS DAILY.
MISCELLANEOUS PERMITTED FOODS
NO-SUGAR GELATIN as much as 3 servings daily ( a serving/ portion size is 4oz) for meals and snacks (but only 1 portion per meal)
FORBIDDEN FOODS Your Basic rule is this: If a food is not in the permitted listings DO NOT USE IT
Use salt sparingly if at all. This is low salt eating for quicker weight loss; you may use salt substitute, or herbs and spices.
USE NO PRODUCTS CONTAINING SUGAR…NO CANDY…NO CHEWING GUM, BUT, as an exception, you may have 1 or 2 sticks of sugarless chewing gum daily if desired; however most types of sugarless gum do contain some carbohydrate , USE NO ARTIFICIALLY SWEETENED CANDY OR COOKIES OR CAKES. They are still high in carbohydrate, and therefore undesirable on this rapid-reducing diet.
EXERCISE IS RECOMMENDED You can enjoy two 15 minute sessions daily, one in the morning and one in the evening for speedier slimming.

Sick With Flu
Well if you have ever been sick and on a diet you know it's the best time to 1) lose weight and 2) have a little cheat.
With the increase in body temp you are increasing your metabolism so you do get a little residual of increase fat loss with a fever.
Now I'm not advocating you cheat but remember the old saying 'starve a fever, feed a cold.'
So what can you have to eat on the hCG diet protocol while you are sick? Vegetable soup, chicken noodle soup, and you can increase the carb count just a little while you are sick but don't go overboard.
To have good carbs while on the hCG diet protocol try the miracle noodles 0 net carb effect because it's full of fiber and will leave you filling fuller.
Get plenty of rest, don't stress and drink plenty of fluids. Like I will be doing!

Don't Buy Hype
I was reading a blog post about hCG diet protocol. Now I'm a firm believer in the hCG diet plan it worked for me before but I must be honest. I did gain weight back. See the diet didn't fail me, no diet fails. I failed to realize I had to treat my being over weight as a disease.
Obesity is the #1 self induced disease in the US not because we over eat, but because of the food we choose to eat and how our food is prepared. We grab fast food because it's quick and easy, we grab a box of prepared food to warm up in the microwave because we don't have time to cook. These items have usually have a list of chemicals and treatments that you don't find or have in food you make from scratch.
Now I don't mean you have to ground your own wheat to make bread but buying more organic foods and products for your health. Be conscience of what you are eating.
Also be conscience of why your eating. Depression, emotional eating, can also lead to obesity.

Bottom line is the hCG diet can be a step toward a cure, but it you have to be the cure all by understanding you have to change your diet for the long term, understand emotional eating and bring exercise into your life.
I lost weight before with low carb and kept it off for years because I made those changes. Having a baby, emotional eating, and stress packed on the pounds. The hCG diet protocol took it off quickly and frankly T-Tapp kept it off, but I stopped exercising and forgot all that I had learned while being a low carb dieter.
The hCG diet plan will get you slim fast but you have to work to keep it off long term.

hCG Diet Kits
Anyone buying those hCG diet kits? Anyone try to make their own kits? DIY hCG diet kits? Anyone try to make their own hCG diet drops or oral hCG? Well I outlined how to do that and save yourself some $$ on the hCG diet. DIY hCG Diet Protocol to save both money and time.
I see many people are doing the homeopathic oral hCG. But my question is how does one make homeopathic oral hCG? hCG is a hormone that is produced in high amounts during pregnancy and excreted in urine. Even if it comes from animals would it not still have to have a prescription? Is there another way to produce hCG? I'm going to look into that. Yesterday couldn't find the information I wanted. So going to take another stab at homeopathic oral hCG.
